NBA 2K9

I bought this game, NBA 2K9, for my great nephew for his 12th birthday which is today. He will like the game because he loves most sports games, especially basketball. Amazon had a good deal on this used game

This game is a great game for offline play. However, the online play is full of bugs, exploits, and not being able to easily play with your friends. 20% of the online games timeout even before they start, no way to report exploits directly to 2K Sports, there's freezing bugs, double team and various defensive measures simply don't work like they do in real life, and hardly anyone has a mic (any you can't filter by that either). 2K Sports resolved some of the connectivity issues for the Xbox 360, but not until several months after release. This simply doesn't send a good message to its followers. I spent [...] for this game for the sole purpose of playing it online and I was very disappointed in both the quality control and maintenance.

This is a terrible game. To make the gameplay more realistic, they made the game slow, choppy and more unrealistic. Do not buy this P.O.S.

I have been a fan of 2K sports since it has started, but I think NBA 2K9 is the worse out of the series. The CPU is nearly unbeatable and you can hardly get a shot off let alone make one. I have used all of the NBA teams and not one came to my liking. The graphics however are very good and very realistic. If you are looking for an NBA game for XBox 360, go somewhere else. This game really sucks!

This is absolutely, hands-down, the best basketball game to date. Anyone who thinks EA can put out a better bball game than this is obviously an idiot and belongs in an insane asylum!!!
