Jade Empire Special Edition biedt een sterk verhaal en een unieke Aziatische sfeer, ondersteund door goede muziek en voice-acting. De game is technisch stabiel en makkelijk toegankelijk, met vloeiende gevechten en meerdere eindes voor extra herspeelbaarheid. Wel is het spel erg lineair en zijn de RPG-elementen beperkt, waardoor er weinig ruimte is voor verkenning of diepgang. Gevechten kunnen na verloop van tijd repetitief aanvoelen en de omgevingen zijn vrij beperkt. Voor liefhebbers van actie-RPG’s en Aziatische mythologie is het een aanrader, maar wie veel vrijheid en complexe RPG-mechanieken zoekt, kan teleurgesteld worden.

Simple action rpg with a fantasy China aesthetic that doesn't do anything too crazy. The story is nice while not being convoluted and the characters are easy to enjoy. While that is nice I got 3 quests in a row were women and little girls said that their destiny o dream was to be a wife and have children ( it's something very common and natural but the setting and the context makes it feel weird.

When you try to launch it on Windows 10/11, it not only fails to start, but makes your mouse useless, messing it all up. Nice performance for a virus, shame for a game. Do not try it even free.

Fun little fighting game based on the Aurora engine. Very fluid fight mechanics. Fun little martial arts mysticism story.

Title says it all, this game is fun, played it a ton when I was a kid. But the controls are a little outdated and the input isnt great.
