probably the best actress on earth in history of modern cinematography all his movies speaks for himself, and this is one of them almost greatest blu-ray i ever seen top quality production one of the must see movies no more to say enjoy it!

Some 13 years later master thespian Al Pacino re-teams with director of Scarface Brian DePalma to bring us another tale of gangster life which could be considered the B-side to the A-side classic Scarface. Only this time, Pacino's character is trying to go legit, but keeps finding himself in the right place at the wrong time. Carlito's Way is as powerful as Scarface but after all they are two totaly different films. Way is filled with some great performances and some familiar faces that eventually went on to bigger roles. DePalma was back in top form when this was released in the fall on '93 as was Pacino on a small comeback tour of his own following his turn as a cop in Sea of Love. Carlito makes his high-def debut and once again Universal delievers the goods. PQ is strong with a soft smokey look. AQ's dts-hd track seems a bit weak, but then again this is a more talkative film then with big booms. Extra's are slim and brief in length. Well worth your dollars for this mob classic.
