Mediatronixs Mission Impossible 5

Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and his team must go it alone to stop The Syndicate, the anti-IMF, causing global chaos.

Tom Cruise reprises his Ethan Hunt character for the 5th time. This time the IMF is shut down after an inquiry from a Senate committee, but when a rogue British spy unit threatens to change world order, Hunt and his team are forced to act. PQ and AQ are both excellent but this blu-ray excels in the numerous bass-rich scenes starting with the Airbus 400 stunt early in the movie. My only gripe is the poor casting of the major villain (Sean Harris): he is not convincing enough to be a menacing, worthy adversary of Hunt given his small, high-pitched voice; a better actor could have been chosen to play the part. The role of Rebecca Ferguson as a MI6 agent is a welcome addition to the series; it nicely complements the audacious Hunt. Eagerly awaiting the release of M:I- Fallout in 4K UHD!

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation isn't quite the thrill ride some of the other entries in this series have been, but it's still a solid action film that builds off of the stories that have come before and even helps set up the current adventure, Fallout . Although there's nothing new on 4K in terms of bonus features, the upgrade adds contrast and better black levels enough that upgrading should be considered, even if you already own the Blu-ray version. Recommended .

Number 5 in the franchise is so far the weakest, not as exciting as ghost protocol,

Every Mission Impossible movie gets more exciting ‘5’ is no exception. A disguised plot with superb acting keeps you enthralled until the end when all Is revealed. Fantastic car and motorbike chases, amazing settings, and capitivating characters, M.I.5 has it all. A really good watch to add to Mission Impossible collections.
