De Dr. Martens 1460 Serena is een gevoerde winterlaars met een zachte zool en warme binnenkant. Het leer is soepel en veel gebruikers vinden deze laars comfortabel zonder inloopperiode. Echter, het ontbreken van halve maten maakt de juiste pasvorm lastig. Het bovenwerk is stijf en kan pijn veroorzaken aan de voetrug. De voetboog krijgt onvoldoende steun. Voor dagelijks wintergebruik geschikt, maar niet ideaal voor intensief dragen.
