One note to a previous review: this release was never intended to replace Live in London; it is a supplement. As far as the song selection goes - well, I can only say that live performances of "Avalanche," "The Partisan," and "Famous Blue Raincoat" is worth the price of admission for any Cohen devotee. I saw this show in Atlanta and "Famous Blue Raincoat" was a magic moment. Sadly, we are unlikely to see a BD release of Live in London: the word is that it was not photographed in HD (or widescreen for that matter). If you are Cohen fan, this is highly recommended.

Compilation of clips from Cohen's world tour - not a film of an entire concert. Marred by poor video, poor song selection overall, and even Cohen looks disappointing in some clips. Only 12 songs on the disc. I was horribly disappointed with this release and expected much more. The Dvd, Leonard Cohen in London (2008), is a far superior release in every way. In the London dvd, Cohen is at his best and the video and sound are wonderful. There are 26 songs on the London Dvd, including Boogie Street, Tower of Song, Thousand Kisses Deep and First We'll take Manhatten, which aren't on the Blu-ray disc.

Loved the presentation but not sure to think of that little extra fortune telling fish that it came with.

Music lovers, you will love this one! You have a legendary figure in music, excellent musicians, heartfelt performances by Leonard, and a great Dolby TrueHD 96/24 soundtrack. The video appears a little soft to me, but it doesn't distract from the overall enjoyment on this one. Highly recommended!
