De Tivoli Audio PAL+ BT is een compacte, draagbare radio met DAB+, FM en Bluetooth. De batterij gaat tot 16 uur mee en het apparaat is weerbestendig, waardoor hij ideaal is voor gebruik binnen en buiten. De geluidskwaliteit wordt vaak geprezen, zeker gezien het formaat. De bediening via de afstandsbediening is eenvoudig, maar de knoppen op het apparaat zelf zijn minder intuïtief. De prijs ligt aan de hoge kant en het display is fel in het donker, wat minder prettig is als je hem als wekker gebruikt. Over het algemeen is het een veelzijdige radio met veel functies, maar er zijn enkele praktische nadelen en de prijs is een belangrijk aandachtspunt.

I have owned Pal Radios for years, the new version requires a 9 volt charger rather than a 12 volt charger. Buyer beware this newer 9 volt version will not play while charging. According to Tivoli this change was made to extend the battery life. Brilliant! So in the middle of listening to the radio when the battery dies you have to wait until the battery has recharged before you resume listening. The portability and the ability to listen while charging and on the battery was the major reason I continued to purchase PAL radio instead of going to the Sonos system, not any more.

This is my third Tivoli radio. The sound is great and the design is really nice. Love that this one can sync with my iPhone for music.

This unit cannot be left plugged in at all times if you ever want to use the AM radio. The amount of interference from the AC adapter prevents the AM radio being used. You can only use it while running on battery.

This is a great radio. I've owned one for years and wanted another. It failed the first week. No big deal, except Amazon charged me a 20% fee to return it . Very disapointed in how Amazon service continues to go down hill. I avoide buying from Amazon whenever I can find a product elsewhere. And, more and more, I find most products are cheaper on sites other than Amazon.

Have had my unit for about a year. Physically sold device with very good FM. AM is average to poor. Rechargeable battery works fine. I have had no problem with the bluetooth feature. The water resistant feature is nice. One issue I just faced is I broke the antenna. I easily ordered and promptly received a replacement from Tivoli. BUT, they sent the whole antenna including the part that is internal to the radio. I was able, after a lot of work, to detach the damaged antenna. Unfortunately, after an hour of work I am unable to unscrew the screw to detach the internal component of the replacement. It is too firmly screwed in. Now, I am contacting them again. The replacement antenna should have been sent unassembled. $200 for the PAL is ridiculous. I would price it at about $125. As an AM/FM portable the CCrane-EP at $80-90 is a better deal
