De Sangean PR-D7 wordt geprezen om zijn uitstekende ontvangst op zowel AM als FM, zelfs bij zwakke signalen. Het compacte en lichte ontwerp maakt hem ideaal voor thuis en onderweg. De mogelijkheid om oplaadbare batterijen direct in de radio te laden is handig, net als het duidelijke display met klok en batterij-indicator. Wel is het geluid vooral geschikt voor spraak en minder voor muziek door het ontbreken van diepe bas. FM wordt alleen in mono weergegeven, ook via hoofdtelefoon. I wanted a bedside clock radio and this one was hopeless. Worst fault was its imbalance - tall and skinny , it falls over if you just touch it , especially at night when you can't see it. The reason you can't see it because the illuminated numbers only show up when you turn it on, and then go off again. Reception was poor also.

Good little radio, this is our second one. On the first one the power button stopped working after 1 ½ years of a lot of use.

Got this for a loved one who wanted to listen to radio but not have a complicated device. This was very easy to use and could program preset buttons to the channels she prefers. The sound is surprisingly good.
