De Sony A7 IV biedt uitstekende beeldkwaliteit dankzij de 33MP sensor en blinkt uit in zowel fotografie als video. Het autofocus-systeem is snel en nauwkeurig, met oogherkenning voor mensen en dieren. De camera is veelzijdig door de sterke videomogelijkheden, grote buffer en dubbele kaartsleuven. Wel zijn de menu's complex en is de beeldstabilisatie minder krachtig dan bij sommige concurrenten. De prijs ligt hoger dan oudere modellen, en de burst-snelheid is lager bij on-gecomprimeerde RAW. Voor gevorderde gebruikers en hybride fotografen blijft dit een topkeuze.

I purchased an A7IV in October of 2022 and in July of 2025 it gave me an error message. The IBIS system had apparently malfunctioned- whatever, no big deal, I get that happens sometimes. Purchased a new one in July 2025 to replace the one being repaired, six months later (literally January 2026) the NEW camera I bought in July is giving me the same error. I cannot get in contact with a Sony representative to get this issue resolved, and if i do, they tell me to turn it off and back on and replace the battery (which i've done). Nobody will take it seriously and give me a legitimate reason why, after six months, a brand new camera stops working. Never been dropped or bumped either, mind you. I can only use it on electronic shutter mode otherwise it stops working. Unacceptable. I spent almost $3k on this camera and it gave out after six months of not even heavy use?

I have been eyeing up this camera for years and finally bought it 27th December 2025.... Had a few shoots with it already and the quality is insane! I Gain confidence in my ability as photographer every time I use it. Highly recommend it to anyone thinking of upgrading

A pre-Xmas treat and clearly a camera that is way better than I could aspire to be, being a newcomer to photography, but the camera is such good quality and received it next day after I ordered it and have lived finding my way with already.
