Elevation Sales Top Gun: Maverick [Blu-Ray]

Originally I had given this a 4, but upon a re-watch this got the rare boost in rating to a 4.5.  I simply love this movie, and it was the breath of fresh air audiences needed on the big screen. This is what we all hope sequels can be; it exceeds expectations, and it has such a re-watchability factor that is hard to come by. Cruise establishes why he’s the box office draw that he is, and I’m looking forward to see how this film will launch the careers for the other members of the cast. I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets nominated for best picture, though I doubt it will win, but this is one that audiences will certainly cheer for and embrace decades from now.

Top Gun: Maverick provided the ultimate summer movie and did the impossible by soaring past its predecessor and becoming the biggest movie on the planet this year. This 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray release from Paramount has a top flight presentation in both audio and video complimented with some nice bonus features. An easy pick up and one that’ll likely be in most stores to grab in person!
