Canon BP-828 accu

This big capacity battery is well worth getting. I can go out all day without having to concern myself with running out of power. I actually got it free as a deal with the Canon XA60 video camera. Even if I hadn’t got it free I would still have gotten it.

Canon's BP-828 is the larger of the two Batteries that will fit the XA20/XA25 Camcorders and I needed the extended time when out in remote locations. The Battery lasts around an extra 75 minutes (approx 150 to 155 minutes in total) compared the standard BP-820, If the instructions are followed that come with the battery you may find it probably will exceeds the stated recording time slightly. I always use genuine Canon Batteries as this way you can be confident that the Battery will perform & outlast many of the third party replacements also in this case be recognised by the Camcorder, the genuine ones may have a high price tag, buying from WEX is not the cheapest, but you are guaranteed that your Battery will not be a grey import and definitely be a genuine Canon one, keep that in mind at all times, you could make a costly mistake. Overall the Battery is a great performer and deserves a five star rating.
