De Philips Avent SCF430/10 handkolf wordt vaak geprezen om het hoge comfortniveau. Het zachte, flexibele siliconen kussen volgt de vorm van de borst en voelt prettig aan, waardoor veel gebruikers zonder pijn kunnen kolven. De kolf is klein, licht en past makkelijk in een tas, wat hem erg geschikt maakt voor gebruik onderweg of als reservekolf. Doordat er maar een paar onderdelen zijn, is hij snel in elkaar te zetten en eenvoudig schoon te maken. De Natural Motion‑technologie bootst het zuigritme van de baby na, wat veel moeders helpt om de toeschietreflex snel op gang te brengen. Tegelijk zijn er duidelijke minpunten: de harde kunststof borstschelp is maar in één maat beschikbaar en past niet goed bij alle tepelmaten, wat voor sommige vrouwen tot minder effectieve of oncomfortabele kolfervaring leidt. Daarnaast melden meerdere gebruikers dat de hendel tijdens het pompen een storend piepend geluid kan maken. Omdat het een handkolf is, is hij minder geschikt voor moeders die vaak of grote hoeveelheden willen kolven; voor incidenteel of aanvullend gebruik werkt hij meestal beter dan als hoofdkolf.

Not sure if we received a faulty pump, it simple could not get the milk out at all unfortunately.Not sure if the duckbill valve is faulty, but just no milk so far. tried the whole 1 month, no milk suction.

This product started off great! I found I was able to get some extra milk after I was finished with my electric pumps, and all was great. Progressively over the course of a month and a half, the pump became more cumbersome to use (parts would constantly slip or not stay in place, and piles of leaking while I’d be trying to pump). The parts to replace are expensive and you may as well just buy a new pump at that point. Overall, I was largely disappointed with how it all turned out and I’ve decided to spend my money elsewhere for the replacement manual pump.

I received this as a product test from Phillips. It is light weight and was convenient to take out and about. It is quite small and fit into most bags. Comfy and quick to use. What more can you ask for….except a small electric one.

I really like this breast pump. It’s comfortable and easy to use. It’s also easy to sterilise and it’s great that the mill goes directly in to a bottle.It’s a handy size so easy to pack when out and about also.
