Husqvarna Bladzuiger + bladblazer, 525bx (Benzine werking, Bladblazer)

I bought this blower a little over a year ago at this point, it has been in the shop two different times in less than a year. The first problem was a carburator issue that I was informed appeared to be a problem from initial assembly. A couple of months later the same issue started up again and I was informed the blower needed a brand new carburetor, which costs $250 only $40 less than the cost of a brand new blower. Apparently, they only warranty the carburetor for 90 days. I'm a professional and only run high octane ethanol free gasoline. Really disappointed with the customer service and quality of this blower. I own several other Husqvarna products and like I previously said I'm really disappointed with the handling of this. Poor manufacturing.

I have had this blower for about 4 years it has never started easily and if you finally get it running it’s bogey you have to block the fan intake and cause cavitation of the fan to get it to work it’s way up to operating rpm. It has never worked well.I started out using mfg fuel. Ran about a gallon of that stuff. Then used 90oct non ethanol with mfg oil. No diffrence in performance. After a week returned to shop rebuilt and adjusted carb.no help. Replaced the carb twice still not much better. I have several blowers and machines from echo and Stihl. With no problems. The last word from the shop that as good as we can get it,they know it’s not great?

My father has Husqvarna chainsaw for around 40 years that he uses it on often. With regular maintenance that thing still works great. That made me to like and appreciate Husqvarna products, so few weeks ago I bought 525BX leaf blower. I used it and it is everything is great on it, from performance through how well it absorbs vibrations, than not being loud and at the end it is a very pretty tool. It is easy to access the engine (I removed the plastic covers to check is everything in its place before I start it for the first time). The manual is another great thing because it is described how to do a maintenance plus a lot of safety suggestions and work techniques.

My dad has one and it’s been a great blower. Only thing I don’t like is the choke on it I think they could make it automatic. Other than that it’s great!

Recently purchased the 525 BX leaf blower, read the reviews about being hard to restart. I hard a similar issue with my Husqvarna chainsaw. Found out the issue was ethanol gasoline, not the saw. Ethanol makes 2 and 4 cycle engines start hard, run rough, and ruins fuel lines. My saw and my new Husqvarna leaf blower along with lawnmower and zero turn mower all run well with non ethanol gas. You can buy it by the quart in your lawn equipment dealership for around $20 a quart ($80 a gallon!), OR find a gas station that sells non ethanol gas for around $4.50 a gallon(Ohio prices ) and mix your own (do the math!).
