It was tough to pick stars. Goretex is working nicely, suppers remain good, but after 2 years and only about 150 light miles thin veneer of tread is peeling off. Not sure what a reasonable expectation is for Hoka. I have had other brands transition from running to walking that lasted for years. Too late to return. I wonder if others have experienced this?

Worst pair of Hoka I’ve purchased. Almost returned them but I hate returning items. First 2 weeks of wearing them the bottom cushion of the sole partially tore off and I had to cut that area with scissors. Now I’ve cut 3 other times or else I would slip with the loose rubber under my shoe.

Not a good fit for my foot. My big toe seemed to be protruding the shape of the shoe.

Overall, I like the shoe for comfort. However, the sole is poorly and cheaply made. Too much foam, which makes it slippery in wet weather in addition to the black part very thin and sparse. These sneakers wore dow very quickly ie. within 6 months. For the cost of $165, the materials are very minimal and Hoka needs to invest further into quality of the sole of the shoes.
