De Pioneer SPH-DA130DAB biedt veel connectiviteit, zoals Apple CarPlay, DAB+ radio en Bluetooth. Het 6,2 inch touchscreen is snel en helder, en de 13-bands equalizer zorgt voor veel audiomogelijkheden. Let op: Android Auto wordt niet ondersteund, alleen AppRadio Mode+ voor Android. Een DAB-antenne moet apart worden aangeschaft. Het toestel vereist een dubbele DIN inbouwruimte. Pioneer have discontinued the android mirroring app for this radio. Do not purchase unless you have an iPhone. More modern models are available for the same price.

This will be my third trip back to the Halfords store Sunday ,since having this stereo installed by your fitter,last week he was meant to fit the clips that hold in the fascia ,but since having this stereo installed we have lost all warning audio ,to indicators ,doors being open ,seat belts etc ,the installer said it’s down to the stereo which I find hard to believe ,so now my original stereo has got to be reinstalled and my money back which I am not happy about

I wanted to replace the original CD player stereo in my Mazda MX5 NC (2010) with something that supports Apple Carplay. This Pioneer does that by connecting the iPhone with a USB cable. It works and the touch screen is fine for using Google Maps for navigation, or Apple Music and Spotify. It's very easy to customise EQ and balance settings. I also needed to activate the setting for right hand drive, as at first the menu positions were reversed.The unit also supports a Bluetooth connection and will play music files stored on the phone. This works very well, displaying track details and album art, and in practice I use this rather than Carplay. There is also a Bluetooth connection for Spotify, but I haven't used that.

Easy enough to install once I had the correct adapter. The screen is very responsive to the touch and provides a better sound quality than the original stereo. The downside is that, when you change songs it can be a bit slow/laggy at displaying the next song on the screen. (The sound from the next song plays before it’s displayed on the screen.) This is only by a couple of seconds so not a huge issue but noticeable. Bluetooth seems good, quick and fast to connect to. Another con in my opinion is that there is only two brightness options.. (day/night mode) I find the night mode brightness to be quite bright still which is distracting - remarkably dimmer than the day setting.. but still for me, too bright when night time driving. You can however turn the display off if not connected to CarPlay, it will still play music etc but this is also defeats the object of installing a screen! Overall happy with my purchase and would recommend with the above information kept in mind.
