De Pioneer DEH-X6800DAB biedt sterke geluidskwaliteit en veel aansluitmogelijkheden, waaronder DAB+ radio, CD, USB, AUX en Bluetooth. Het afneembare frontpaneel is handig tegen diefstal. Wel is de equalizer beperkt tot 5 banden en zijn er slechts 2 RCA pre-outs, wat minder flexibel is voor uitgebreide audio-installaties. FLAC-bestanden kunnen alleen via USB worden afgespeeld, niet via CD. Sommige gebruikers melden dat het display moeilijk leesbaar is bij fel zonlicht.

This is one of the best DAB+ car radios that I have had. Very easy to install, make sure you purchase the Pioneer DAB antenna which sticks on your windscreen. It's brilliant, great reception all the station's. Well happy, great price arrived early, like I said brilliant.

Works perfectly and is very intuitive to set up. Easy operation, and the button lighting is better on this model than previous versions. Almost infinitely possible colour combinations for the display and keys means there is something for everyone's taste and situation here. The DAB stations tuning was easy. First stage is the unit seems to search and log all stations, then you can cycle through them and store the ones you want to keep, with a prolonged press of a numbered button. Allowing up to 18 stations to be memorised. There are a similar number of FM stations that can be memorised too. Sound is clean and powerful all round. I particularly like the way Pioneer handles playing mp3 files, with no appreciable pause between tracks, even if random option is chosen, I.e. no gaps between tracks that shouldn't be there. This works with either CD based files or USB based files.

Works really well - just wish it'd been plainer that I'd need an additional DAB aerial - in the end it took another weekend to get it fitted.
