De Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 205/55R16 91V staat bekend als een sterke vierseizoenenband met duidelijke winterfocus. Uit meerdere tests blijkt dat de band uitblinkt in sneeuw- en zelfs ijsremmen, met goede tractie en controle in koude omstandigheden. Ook op nat wegdek biedt het profiel met V-groeven en silica-compound een betrouwbare waterafvoer en redelijk veilige grip. In gematigde klimaten is dit daardoor een comfortabele oplossing als alternatief voor aparte zomer- en wintersets. Tegelijk melden diverse tests duidelijke minpunten: de remweg op droog wegdek is langer dan bij veel concurrerende allseason- en zomerbanden, en de grip in de regen hoort niet tot de top van de klasse. Daarnaast wordt de rolweerstand als relatief hoog beoordeeld, wat nadelig kan zijn voor het brandstofverbruik. Deze band is vooral interessant voor bestuurders die prioriteit geven aan winterveiligheid en allround inzetbaarheid boven maximale efficiëntie en droge prestaties.

excellent silent and safe tire no grip problems both in dry and wet conditions, only a small criticism I have the impression that it tends to wear out quickly we will see, on the other hand in general with the 4 season compound that I know more of 30/35 thousand kilometers it is not possible to do, I hope to do at least another 15/20 thousand, however I will buy them back

It drives great. However, wear is very quick for 2 years. Now I have to replace it with new ones. Mainly front axle.

Good all-weather tire with good properties on dry and wet roads. Amazingly good properties in snow. Can recommend the tire.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!
