De Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 in maat 255/50R19 XL 107W is een vierseizoensband die vooral uitblinkt in winterse omstandigheden. Onafhankelijke tests en gebruikerservaringen benadrukken de sterke tractie en korte remweg op sneeuw en een solide prestatie op ijs, wat veel vertrouwen geeft bij koud weer. Tegelijkertijd presteert de band goed in de regen, met effectieve waterafvoer en een stabiel gevoel bij natte wegen. Op droog wegdek is de grip en het remmen degelijk, al scoren sommige concurrerende allseason-banden beter in pure droog- en natremtests. Verschillende bronnen melden een relatief comfortabele en redelijk stille rijervaring in de eerste jaren, gecombineerd met een aantrekkelijke prijs binnen het premiumsegment. Aan de andere kant wordt de rolweerstand als wat hoger beoordeeld, wat iets nadelig kan zijn voor het brandstofverbruik. Verder zijn er meldingen van toenemend bandengeluid en lichte scheurtjes in het profiel na meerdere jaren gebruik. Voor zware, langdurige winters of puur ijs blijft een echte winterband veiliger, maar voor bestuurders die een sterke allround band zoeken met duidelijke wintervoordelen is dit een interessante keuze.

excellent silent and safe tire no grip problems both in dry and wet conditions, only a small criticism I have the impression that it tends to wear out quickly we will see, on the other hand in general with the 4 season compound that I know more of 30/35 thousand kilometers it is not possible to do, I hope to do at least another 15/20 thousand, however I will buy them back

It drives great. However, wear is very quick for 2 years. Now I have to replace it with new ones. Mainly front axle.

Good all-weather tire with good properties on dry and wet roads. Amazingly good properties in snow. Can recommend the tire.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!
