De Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in maat 205/55R16 XL 94Y staat bekend als een zeer veilige en sportieve zomerband. Testrapporten en veel gebruikers waarderen vooral de sterke grip en korte remweg op zowel nat als droog wegdek, gecombineerd met een stabiel en voorspelbaar rijgedrag. Hierdoor geeft de band veel vertrouwen bij dagelijkse ritten én bij dynamisch rijden. Voor een UHP‑band wordt het comfort en het geluidsniveau vaak als goed omschreven, al is hij niet de stilste in zijn klasse. Een belangrijk aandachtspunt is de slijtage: bij een krachtige auto of een sportieve rijstijl slijt de band sneller dan sommige concurrenten en melden rijders dat de prestaties wat teruglopen naarmate het profiel halveert of wanneer het kouder is. Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
