De Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is een ultra high performance zomerband die vooral uitblinkt in grip en nauwkeurig stuurgedrag. In onafhankelijke tests en gebruikersreviews wordt de band regelmatig geprezen om zijn uitstekende rem- en bochtgedrag op droog en nat wegdek, wat veel vertrouwen geeft bij sportief rijden. Tegelijk blijft het comfortniveau goed en is het geluidsniveau voor een sportband relatief laag. De levensduur wordt voor deze klasse als redelijk tot goed gezien, al melden sommige bestuurders met zware of zeer krachtige auto’s dat de band sneller slijt. Een nadeel is de hoge prijs; deze band richt zich duidelijk op kopers die topprestaties belangrijker vinden dan een laag budget. Daarnaast is het een pure zomerband: bij lage temperaturen en winterse omstandigheden is de compound minder effectief en zijn aparte winterbanden een betere keuze. Wie maximale prestaties in de warmere maanden zoekt, krijgt hier echter een van de beste sportbanden op de markt.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
