De Michelin Pilot Sport 5 235/45R19 XL 99Y is een premium zomerband die in tests en gebruikersreviews consequent wordt geprezen om zijn zeer hoge grip op droog én nat wegdek, korte remwegen en voorspelbare wegligging. De band voelt precies aan in het stuur en blijft stabiel, ook bij hogere snelheden of een dynamische rijstijl, terwijl het comfort en geluidsniveau opvallend goed blijven voor een sportieve band. Een sterk verkooppunt is de relatief lange levensduur: voor een UHP‑band haalt hij bovengemiddeld veel kilometers, waardoor de hogere aanschafprijs deels wordt gecompenseerd. Daar staat tegenover dat hij duidelijk duurder is dan veel concurrenten en niet de meest extreme keuze is voor puur circuitgebruik. Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
