De Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in maat 225/45R18 XL 95Y staat bekend als een zeer sportieve zomerband met uitstekende grip op droog én nat wegdek. Veel tests en gebruikers prijzen de precieze besturing, korte remwegen en het vertrouwen dat de band geeft bij hogere snelheden en in bochten. Tegelijk biedt hij voor een UHP-band nog redelijk comfort en geluidsniveau, waardoor hij goed past op krachtige dagelijkse auto’s. Een minpunt is dat de band bij dynamisch rijden sneller kan slijten en dat de aanschafprijs hoog ligt. Ook is het geen ideale keuze voor koud of winters weer; prestaties nemen dan merkbaar af. Voor bestuurders die vooral in de warmere seizoenen rijden en sportief rijgedrag belangrijk vinden, is dit echter een van de sterkste keuzes in dit segment.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
