De Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is een sportieve zomerband met zeer goede prestaties op droog en nat wegdek. In meerdere onafhankelijke tests wordt hij geprezen om zijn korte remweg, sterke grip en stabiele wegligging, wat veel vertrouwen geeft bij hogere snelheden en sportief rijden.[3] Ook in de regen scoort hij hoog, met goede aquaplaningreserve en veel controle in bochten.[1][3] Daar staat tegenover dat de prijs duidelijk hoger ligt dan bij veel concurrenten, en bij zware of krachtige auto’s melden sommige bestuurders een snellere slijtage dan gehoopt.[1][3] Ook is de band meer gericht op prestaties dan op maximaal comfort of stilte. Voor bestuurders die vooral veiligheid en sportieve rijkwaliteit zoeken, blijft dit echter een van de sterkere keuzes in het UHP‑segment.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
