De Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is een sportieve zomerband die in veel onafhankelijke tests en gebruikersreviews wordt geroemd om zijn zeer sterke prestaties op nat en droog asfalt. De band biedt korte remwegen, directe stuurreacties en veel vertrouwen bij hogere snelheden, terwijl comfort en rolgeluid voor dit type band goed onder controle blijven. Veel rijders halen een nette kilometrage, maar geven ook aan dat dit geen kilometervreter is: de focus ligt duidelijk op grip en veiligheid. De belangrijkste keerzijde is de relatief hoge aanschafprijs en het feit dat hij wat minder zuinig is dan meer comfort- of eco-georiënteerde banden. Voor bestuurders die vooral maximale controle en veiligheid in de zomer zoeken, is dit echter een zeer sterke keuze.

Smooth ride. Incredible grip that even prevents the traction control from engaging in brisk pull aways from a standstill. (My car is FWD). The only negative with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is that tyre wear does appear to be slightly higher than with a regular tyre.

Se volete una bella guida sportiva sull'asciutto sono perfetti. Sul bagnato leggermente meno performanti ma direi che è normale! Ho provato precedentemente altre marche ma per me restano pe migliori!

Usure des pneus très importante Attention aux routes de campagnes gravillonneuses pouvant endommager les pneus très rapidement. Les voitures lourdes (type electrique tesla), use les pneus à la vitesse de l'éclair, penser à vérifier courrament. Malgré une usure avancée (voire très avancée), les pneus n'éclatent pas, ils tiennent bon quoi qu'il arrive. Impressionnant.
