De Michelin Latitude Sport is een ultra-high-performance zomerband, ontwikkeld voor krachtige SUV’s en crossovers zoals de Porsche Cayenne. Veel gebruikers en tests benadrukken de uitstekende grip op droog asfalt, precieze besturing en hoge stabiliteit bij snelwegtempo’s en sportief bochtenwerk. Ook op nat wegdek voelt de band zeker aan, met korte remwegen en veel vertrouwen. Voor een sportieve SUV-band is het geluidsniveau relatief laag en wordt het rijcomfort vaak positief genoemd. Tegelijk is het geen kilometrekoning: bij stevige of sportieve rijstijl ligt de levensduur duidelijk lager dan bij meer toergerichte banden, al ervaren veel bestuurders de slijtage nog steeds als acceptabel. Omdat dit een pure zomerband is, presteert hij slecht bij kou, sneeuw of ijs en moet dan worden vervangen door geschikte winterbanden. Daarnaast is de prijs relatief hoog, wat een rol speelt in de totale gebruikskosten, maar je krijgt daar wel zeer overtuigende prestaties voor terug.

I have had 3 pairs of these tires on two different Porsche Cayenne Turbo's and the performance has been outstanding, the only complaint is I only get about 17,000 miles per set. Keep in mind they are high performance tires, and this is pretty much what you can expect from any other brand. I have had Pirelli and Continental, neither can match the performance and sound qualities of the Michelin tire. I have owned seven Porsche's, and I now only buy Michelin.

40000 Mileage before replacement. Excellent tire. I think the tires will approach AR 60000 Kms.
