De Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127 is een sportieve zomerband met veel grip en korte remwegen op natte en droge wegen. Gebruikers en tests waarderen vooral de stabiele wegligging en nauwkeurige stuurreacties, ook bij hogere snelheden, mede door de geavanceerde silica-compound en interlocking groeven. Tegelijk blijft de band relatief stil en comfortabel voor een ultra-high-performance band, met een nette levensduur. Daar staat tegenover dat deze band duidelijk een zomers product is: bij lage temperaturen en in sneeuw of ijs neemt de grip snel af. Op zeer slecht wegdek kan de band wat harder en minder verfijnd aanvoelen en qua verbruik zijn er touringbanden die nog iets efficiënter zijn. Voor bestuurders die in de zomer stevig maar veilig willen rijden en comfort niet willen opofferen, is dit echter een zeer aantrekkelijke keuze.

Tysta och energieffektiva däck. Känns trygga på både våt och torr väg. Slitaget är för tidigt att uttala mig om men det verkar lovande. Bra pris på däcken också. Jag är nöjd.

The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
