De Fulda EcoControl HP2 is een zomerband die vooral wordt geroemd om zijn lage slijtage, lange levensduur en gunstige rolweerstand, wat hem aantrekkelijk maakt voor veelrijders die op kosten willen letten. Tests en gebruikerservaringen benadrukken ook de goede aquaplaning‑reserves en de korte remweg op droog wegdek, terwijl het geluidsniveau en het rijcomfort voor deze prijsklasse netjes zijn. Tegelijkertijd wijzen meerdere onafhankelijke testen op duidelijke zwaktes op nat wegdek: vooral de remweg en de grip in bochten blijven achter bij topbanden. De stuurrespons wordt als wat traag en gemiddeld omschreven, waardoor de band minder geschikt is voor zeer dynamisch rijden. Voor wie vooral rustig rijdt, veel kilometers maakt en prijs, levensduur en brandstofverbruik belangrijk vindt, is dit een logische keuze, maar bestuurders die maximale veiligheid en prestaties op nat wegdek zoeken, kunnen beter naar een hoger gepositioneerde band kijken.

Tire that was at a good price a year ago. The dry grip is good, it conveys the sensations of the road behind the wheel well. The grip in the wet is good too. Good braking in both cases. Estimated duration 30000 km, it is the second game I use. They can last longer as I am not one to wait for the wear witness to show clearly. I always change the wheels before. Reliable and safe tire in a medium price range.

Good value for money! Now drive the second set of these tires and I am still very satisfied. Volume on dry roads is perfect, the tire is quiet even at higher speeds. However, it gets quite loud when wet ... The driving feel is good, occasionally a bit spongy, which is probably due to the width of the tires (I only have narrower winter tires as a direct comparison). Would definitely buy this tire again!
