De Fulda EcoControl HP2 is een zomerband uit het middensegment die vaak wordt gekozen vanwege zijn duurzaamheid en economische eigenschappen. Onafhankelijke tests en gebruikerservaringen noemen consequent de zeer goede slijtvastheid, lage rolweerstand en daarmee gunstig brandstofverbruik. Op droog wegdek scoort de band goed met korte remwegen en veilig, voorspelbaar gedrag, terwijl veel rijders het lage geluidsniveau waarderen. Tegelijk wijzen meerdere testorganisaties op duidelijke zwaktes op nat wegdek: de remweg is langer en de grip en handling liggen merkbaar onder het niveau van de beste concurrenten, ondanks redelijke weerstand tegen aquaplaning. Ook de stuurrespons op droog wordt als gemiddeld beoordeeld en niet erg sportief. Omdat testresultaten per jaar verschillen, is dit een band die vooral past bij rustige bestuurders die veel kilometers willen maken en waarde hechten aan lage kosten, maar die minder vaak in zware regen of zeer dynamisch rijden.

Tire that was at a good price a year ago. The dry grip is good, it conveys the sensations of the road behind the wheel well. The grip in the wet is good too. Good braking in both cases. Estimated duration 30000 km, it is the second game I use. They can last longer as I am not one to wait for the wear witness to show clearly. I always change the wheels before. Reliable and safe tire in a medium price range.

Good value for money! Now drive the second set of these tires and I am still very satisfied. Volume on dry roads is perfect, the tire is quiet even at higher speeds. However, it gets quite loud when wet ... The driving feel is good, occasionally a bit spongy, which is probably due to the width of the tires (I only have narrower winter tires as a direct comparison). Would definitely buy this tire again!
