De Continental ContiVanContact 200 is een premium zomerband voor bestelwagens, gericht op veilig en stabiel rijden met zware belading. Uit tests en gebruikerservaring blijkt dat vooral de rem- en bochtprestaties op nat wegdek erg sterk zijn, wat goed past bij het gunstige EU-label voor rolweerstand en natte grip. De versterkte constructie en stijve zijwanden zorgen voor een stabieler gevoel op de snelweg en minder gevoeligheid voor zijwind, wat veel zakelijke rijders waarderen. Tegelijk melden meerdere gebruikers dat de kilometrage eerder gemiddeld is voor een premium band, zeker bij intensief gebruik, en dat de prijs duidelijk hoger ligt dan bij budgetalternatieven. Het geluidsniveau is acceptabel maar niet uitzonderlijk laag. Deze band is daardoor vooral interessant voor wie veiligheid, stabiliteit en premium rijeigenschappen belangrijker vindt dan een zo laag mogelijke kilometerprijs.

The tire convinced me with its smoothness and safe handling on dry and wet roads. After such a short time I could not find any tire wear. I can't say anything about fuel consumption, as this always depends on the terrain.

Excellent hold on the sides. While the 225 / 55R17 size is smaller than the original 235 / 55R17, but being able to have these reinforced tires is a real advantage!

After 30,000 km mileage, even for the third year still enough profile. Low wear, good grip even on wet roads, low noise, fuel-efficient, all in all a tire that is 100% worth its price. Definitely buy again. Test on snow not done, but there are winter tires from Continental, also recommended.
