Superb sound. Paired mine with Pioneer D8406 amp. Pioneer TS-WX1210A Powered sub to hit those lows...pure heaven. I actually have mine hooked up to a 12v trickle charger in my bedroom. It works like a charm. I have this all and hooked the amp up. Did some research and yes the head unit and the amp can both handle 8 Ohm speakers. So I got creative and hooked these huge custom floor speakers up to the amp I got from a friend awhile back, and OMG it totally transformed the speakers into monsters. I may keep it in there and buy another setup for my Trooper that this setup was originally intended for LOL. THATS HOW GOOD THIS IS.

A very amazing SQ headunit, as far as i am concerned it's still highly sought after headunit. I have most this headunit from 3 different vehicle's and it still makes me smile with it's amazing amount of EQ functions as well as using auto eq. Although the bluetooth could definitely be better overall it's still a very amazing headunit!

Love this unit and everything it does! Not the newest flashiest model. But will crap on the sound out of most head units out there today! The DSP on this is great! Also great for an active network setup! Turn the front/rear/sub RCA outputs into high /mids/lows and even more features as far as filtering the correct frequencies going to your amps/speakers when running network mode!
