De Technics SCC70MK2EGK biedt een krachtig, vol geluid met verrassend diepe bas voor zijn formaat. Dankzij de vele streamingmogelijkheden, CD-speler en de Space Tune-functie is het systeem veelzijdig en eenvoudig aan te passen aan de ruimte. De bouwkwaliteit is hoog en het ontwerp oogt premium. Wel zijn er enkele nadelen: de stereoscheiding is beperkt door de frontale plaatsing van de speakers, en de bas kan soms details in de muziek overstemmen. Bij hoge volumes klinkt het systeem wat minder open en dynamisch, waardoor het minder geschikt is voor feestjes of kritische luisteraars die veel expressie zoeken. Voor dagelijks gebruik en kleinere ruimtes is het echter een uitstekende keuze.

I bought this mainly for the CD player and I'm quite impressed. I have not yet tried the radio functions though I am a touch disappointed that the aerial is external, which makes moving it from room to room (at 8 kilos it's luggable rather than portable) more awkward. The speakers are a 2.1 system and the .1 (sub-woofer) is very boomy/thuddy - it would be better with a proper bass cone for each channel; even with the bass turned to minimum, if the music has a heavily engineered bass then it can be excessively boomy for my enjoyment. Apart from those quibbles, I'm please with it and it does the job I bought it for.

I bought the Technics system on the advice of the salesman, instead of the Ruark system. I’m not overall satisfied that the choice was the correct one. The sound is ok, but the system is a complicated piece of equipment to set up. It is also very heavy, seemingly a well put-together item, although you have to be very careful moving the system in case the speakers become damaged. The antennae that comes with the system is totally inadequate, requiring another antennae that has to be purchased. I wouldn’t recommend this system to anyone. Pretty annoyed really.

I knew the brand I was going for and once again Technics didn’t disappoint. Beautiful product, excellent sound, heavy punchy bass. Technics: Simply the Best!

Bought Technics SC- C70 2 weeks ago. Great advice and support from Edinburgh store . Arrived the next day. Superb level of service .
