Replaced an older bluesound node, always running the streamer into an external DAC. The MXN10 sounds much more liquid - a very big step up. The app is also much better - hassle free and easy to use. Plus the external buttons allow easy access to presets. Excellent! The internal dac is just ok, you can do better. For the money it’s fine. Overall this is a great unit that does a single job exceptionably well. Recommended!

Works perfectly, quick to set up on my network with my NAS, no issues either. Note that the Sabre DAC and volume control via the Cambridge app only work on RCA, but the volume is a bit restricted. With optical and coaxial, it's direct output but the gain is better, so it all depends on your expectations and your amplifier.

Very happy with everything, from sale to delivery. A significant problem was the initial setup where the mandatory firmware update, which is known to be lengthy, would not complete (via direct wired network connection). I was patient. Phone support from Upscale's Steve Nakashima was very appreciated. After more than 6 tries over two days, the setup finally completed, for no apparent reason over previous attempts. The Streammagic app can be quirky in requiring several restarts, but I can live with that. Overall, I am very pleased by this player as well as the sale and service provided by Upscale Audio.

Works perfectly with AirPlay and the built-in DAC is more than adequate. Please note that there is no remote control, but it can be operated using the Streammagic app.

I am quite happy with this unit, there is a small glitch with playing tracks manually selected from usb in digital output mode which Cambridge tech support has been more than helpful in trying to resolve, and Upscale Audio not at all. 5 stars for Cambridge 2 for Upscale Audio's brush off response, and based on that I don't intend to buy anything from them in the future. But can fully recommend Cambridge Audio, they really seem to care about their quality and making sure their customers are satisfied.
