Bought the BV8H on spec as I couldnt find much feedback on it. Got it in the kit with the C373T carbon sticks. I think its great. Sticks are solid and the fluid head is smooth. Using it for video with my Panasonic FZ2500 at the moment but had intended to match it with a Panasonic HC-X1. My full zoom footage from the FZ2500 has improved quite significantly, though, so Im going to stick with that for the moment. Love the service and on time (if not before) delivery from B&H and DHL.

I was impressed with the level of professionalism on this item from the bag to the head and levels of adjustment on it. the only thing that might be a hindrance is the legs as they will fall if you do not tighten them really tight. But Benro Lets go is a great company

I snagged this on a sale and it might be overkill for my setup but the deal was too good. The tripod isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. The pan and tilt customization is great and very smooth. The tripod also looks sleek if that matters to you. I can trust it in any situation even when traveling.

I bought this with a Benro tripod to hold my Nikon 7500 and a Nikon 300 to 500 mm lens with teleconverter as well as my Sony video camera. Works well for my purposes. The only thing that I wish it had is a lighted level like my BV4H has. A small maglite works when I need it.

I thought i do a review for this one since there was nothing here when i toke a chance and ordered mine. I was originally looking at the one with the S8 head but after trying at a store i noticed way too much flex on the legs when all the way up. So i decided to get the Bv8 which came with a great bag that actually turns in to a backpack, (Yes, you read right, see pic) The bag also has thick wrap around Velcro straps to secure the tripod that do nothing but get in your way. (i'm cutting those out) The tripod is solid and smooth, no flex on the legs, the head could use a bit more drag and a light on the leveling bubble but again, if you're the real deal I'm sure you carry a small flashlight right beside your headphones and multi-tool. Counterbalance is great it hold my FS5 rig which weights 13 pounds This is the first tripod i know that has a similar center spread to the ones that costs $$$. Overall very happy with it, i would give it 5 stars if it had a light and more drag.
