Is this normal? I used this kettle for three times and it has this C mark inside the kettle

Quite flimsy construction. The filter in the spout is constantly falling out and has to be repositioned. It will do for now, but I would not buy this again or recommend it to anyone.

Slightly smaller than most everyday kettles but easily large enough for 2 people.

Smaller water capacity than ur average bog standard kettle. Got it at a lower price as is was lightning deal and my old kettle was broken. I prob wouldn't buy it again and certainly not at full price. It's also a bit clumpy to open and close to fill with water, u actually open the lid rather than push a button and there is no light to indicate that the water is boiling. Not impressed.

I needed to replace my two year old Tesco Value Brushed Stainless kettle which was significantly cheaper than this (I mean MUCH cheaper). This kettle does not have a light/indicator showing that the kettle is on. The Tesco did. This does not have a button to open the lid, you need to actually touch it (not too hot though). Tesco did. This boils water in the same time as Tesco and is just as noisy. The level indicator is hard to read. The "cool wall" feature should be "boiling wall". The sides of the kettle do get boiling hot. Maybe the cool wall applies to the lid which gets warm? Just because it has a Philips logo on it does not mean it is good. This is an overpriced, featureless kettle. The Tesco Value kettle I had before had better features at a far lower price. ========================================================= Update 3rd September 15 Water is now trickling out the base near the join with the handle. Binned. Got a Sainsburys Value SS Kettle to replace. Far superior.
