I already have 3 DX5's & bought the DX95 for the living room. As my wife suffers from Asthma & I have COPD, it really make a tremendous difference to the air quality in the house & we have both felt the difference in our breathing. So pleased and impressed with Fellowes Air Purifiers that I bought a DX5 for both my son's house & my mothers.

So impressed with this Air Purifier I have recommended it to my niece who has now also bought one.

I love your product and own 3 of them, 1 in my Canadian residence and 2 in California. They do a solid job of keeping my allergies in check especially at nights. Blue lights are known to have adverse effects on sleep/the pineal gland. It would be great to have 'night time mode' or provide something to block the blue lights out at nights. I struggle to find blue post its to put over the lights. And even then, the lights get thru which disrupts my sleep; I am forced to make a choice of sleeping rough due to poor air quality or sleeping rough due to the very very bright blue lights. Surely your engineers could do a better job and fix this thing. You could see the lights from space-that's how bright they are. If my bedroom is pitch black, the blue lights light up the room to the point I wouldn't need a flash light. Please fix this. I am giving you 3 stars for this issue. You could also do better with the sound..it's pretty loud also.

It's a good air purifier. I leave mine on auto mode usually and have never found the noise level to be intrusive. It can also be manually adjusted. It will get louder if you crank up the fan speed using manual mode. I live next to a gravel road that generates a lot of dust, car exhaust, etc. and the purifier is directly under my heat pump head. That means the life span of the filters (HEPA and carbon) is shorter than advertised. But that's understandable. Replacement filters aren't terribly spendy.

I have this in my family room. Works quietly and we watch our tv in the same room. It’s our fourth air cleaner, and we will continue to purchase this one when we need replacements. We set it and leave it but comes in as needed when there is piircsir quality. Yellow button to tell you poor air and turns green when it achieves that goal. It’s not as good as a 1,000 dollar cleaner, but does a very good job and is affordable. I have severe allergies and I like it a lot. I gave not felt the need to purchase a top brand for lots of money. This works well. It’s very efficient and very quiet. My bedroom cleaner sounds like a jet taking off.
