Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC In-Wall HD

Purchased one of these for my frustrated father who knew little about WiFi but knew his wasn't working as it should. Turned off WiFi on his ISP-supplied router, grabbed a PoE injector and installed this IW in a central point of the house where an existing data port was located. Looks slick and does it's job really well. Great coverage across a two level house. No more complaints from dad too. An excellent product all-round. Negative reviews on this would likely find their structured cabling is most likely to blame rather than the device it self!

Perfect for our needs, attached to the back of a TV mount, gives strong Wi-Fi, and connects the TV, couldn't ask for a better solution.

Identical performance to the U6-Pro, with 4 additional ethernet ports. Great for behind the TV for wired and wireless internet for the lounge, or office with poe handset.

Simpel aan te sluiten als je al een Unifi SDN hebt. Binnen 3 minuten up-and-running.

Intussen overgegaan op Unifi gear (enkel de 'grote' switch moet nog gebeuren, staat voor Q1 2020 op de planning). Netwerk bestaat (onder andere) uit - AP-AC-Pro - AP-AC-Lite - AP-HD-In Wall - Security Gateway 3p - Switch8 PoE-60W En dit is met voorsprong mijn favoriete device. Range is net iets minder dan bijvoorbeeld de AP-AC-Pro maar het bereik is nog steeds een pak beter dan de meeste accesspoints in dit prijssegment. Bovendien krijg je er een 4-port (5 eigenlijk, met uplink) managed gigabit switch bij, in een kleine; fijne form factor. Als ik het had geweten, ik had de AP-AC-Pro links laten liggen en er nog zo eentje gehangen in de plaats! Jammer dat er voor de 2.4GHz band slechts voorziening is voor 300Mbps. Voor mij is dit echter geen dealbreaker want de devices waarvoor snelheid belangrijk is, ondersteunen allemaal 5GHZ.
